Although the first experiments were conducted on hot air balloons before that, it is commonly accepted that the hot air balloon was invented in 1782 by the Montgolfier brothers. Although the first official flight of a hot air balloon took place in 1783, it was not until three months later that the first manned flight took place in Versailles in front of King Louis XIV, with a rooster, a sheep and a duck on board the hot air balloon!
For experienced puzzlers, the 1000-piece format is ideal for enjoying the relaxing and calming activity of puzzle-solving. Opening a puzzle box means looking forward to long hours of play, where patience and concentration are required to tackle all the pieces scattered across the living room table. But what satisfaction when you finally assemble the pieces that fit together perfectly!
